Mark 16: 9-20
1. Mark’s Gospel has a lot more information with some key interactions that deserve our consideration:
a. What detail is given about Mary Magdalene? Why bring this back up? Why is it so important that Jesus appears first to her (compare with v. 11)?
b. Why are Jesus’ words in verse 14 so important to us today? What is the message?
c. Verses 15-18. Do these still apply to us? How? How do you/would you react if you saw someone perform one of these signs?
d. How does Marks’ account of the Ascension compare to the story with which you are most familiar? What is the focus of the end of Mark’s Gospel, the people or Jesus?
