Before beginning the questions below, read the entire section that deals with Tuesday (Mark 11:20-13:37. While doing so, record any questions, challenging passages, etc. you may encounter. Then, for any questions/observations not addressed in the questions below, spend some additional time with them on your own and with others.
1. Mark 11:20-26.
a. Is this description of all that occurred with the fig tree different than that which you thought on Monday? Is so, how?

2. Read Mark 11:27-12:27, which describes a series of traps presented by Jesus’ opponents.
a. How does Jesus react and interact in these times? What does he avoid doing? What can we take from his behavior?
b. In the parable of the tenants, Mark 12:1-12:
1. Who is the owner?
2. Who are the renters?
3. Who are the servants?
4. Who is the heir?
5. Who are “others”?
6. Why did they not arrest Jesus?
7. What are the implications for us?
3. Read Mark 12:28-34. What is the message Jesus wants to send? How are we to live?
4. Read Mark 12:35-44.
a. What is Jesus’ mood here?
b. What message is he trying to convey?
5. Of what is Jesus speaking in Mark 13? To whom and how many is he speaking at the time? Is that significant? What is our focus to be in our Christian walks: the end times or our preparation for them?
Reflect on any themes from Jesus’ activity on Tuesday and write out some prayers for this season.
